I am non-EU student and my resident permit will end after my working contract but have 4-6 month of extension as job search permit. So, I want to ask if I would get the benefit after my graduation or not? So that I can apply to be a member soon.
Hi,
in your 4-6 months job search period, you can not get unemployment benefits. The job search permit only allows you to search for job, not actually work. If you find a job you need to apply for residence permit based on that job.
In generally as non-EU citizen its only possible to get unemployment benefits (“dagpenge”) in Denmark if you have a permanent residence permit.
