Hi,
I am on an Erasmus Mundus degree (Global Forestry), which is publicly recognized (SU is possible on this degree). I have been in Denmark since before the start of my education (September 01 2023), with an address, CPR and a part time job. However, in the second semester of my first year I was in Italy, and so I de-registered my CPR, and for the period February to August did not have an address in Denmark. I now have a new address in Copenhagen where I will stay for the next year.
I have two questions regarding the conditions of graduate rights. Firstly, on “You had a permanent address in Denmark no later than one day before the start of your education.” Do I qualify as this, even though my address changed in the year, to one outside of Denmark?
Secondly, on the affiliate requirement “during 12 months within a 24 month period prior to the unemployment there must have been reported at least 600 wage hours to the income-register (SKAT).” I worked 150 hours in my first semester, can this be included despite the CPR de-register? Further, does the ‘during 12 months’ imply that it only counts if the 600 is accrued across 12 months, even if more than 600 has been accrued across the two years?
Thank you very much
Orla

according to the this page:
https://su.dk/su/om-su-til-videregaaende-uddannelser/godkendte-videregaaende-uddannelserErasmus Mundus degree (Global Forestry) is NOT an education program approved by SU.
Also I can see on another page (https://www.ug.dk/uddannelser/bachelorogkandidatuddannelser/kandidatuddannelser/naturvidenskabeligekandidatuddannelser/oevrigenaturvidenskab/global-forestry)
that the education has a participation fee, but that you can apply for SU.According to these sources I will assess that you can NOT get graduate rights in the A-kasse.
However, I will strongly recommend you to also ask an A-kasse.
About the requirement of stay in Denmark. You only have to have stayed in Denmark before the education startet and again at latest 2 weeks after the education is finished. During the education you can stay outside Denmark.
The CPR is not relevant when we talk rules about Unemployment benefits (“dagpenge”) – so it dosen’t matter that you have been de-registered from the CPR-register.
The income must be reported to the income register within 12 months during the last 24 months.
The work does not need to have been carried out for 12 consecutive months, but wage hours must be reported in each of the 12 months.Hope it helps.
Best regards,
