Hello,
I am going to move to Denmark (where i first started my master degree) after a period abroad to finish my studies and i intend to apply for unemployment benefit as a newly graduate. I am aware of the 2 weeks residency rule according to which i have to be resident and present in Denmark within 2 weeks after graduation, but i was wondering how will i prove that once i am there? is it enough to have an address in Denmark within those 2 weeks or is there anything else i should do in those weeks?

Hi,
the rule for graduates states that you must have residence and actually stay in Denmark. So registering an address is enough if you also actually stays at the address/in Denmark.

neither an EU certificate nor a CPR number is necessary to fulfill the requirement for residence and stay in Denmark.
You need to be able to prove for the A-kasse that you stay/live in Denmark. It’s ok to stay with a friend if you don’t have your own address. The formal documents is not important. The important thing is that you live in Denmark.
